We at Namasté Vineyards believe the finest wines come from the finest grapes. Our vineyards were established decades ago between 1980 and 1983 and produce complex and mature fruit. Our vineyard property is located just 15 minutes west of Salem, in the heart of Oregon's renowned Willamette Valley. We grow Chardonnay, Riesling, Gewürztraminer, and multiple Pinot Noirs. All of our Pinot Noirs and white wines are made with estate-grown fruit only. Our luscious Big Reds line up is created using fruit locally sourced from specially chosen partner vineyards known for producing rich and bold flavor profiles. Work in each of our vineyards is done explicitly by hand with maximum focus on attention to detail. With such care and dedication to the vines, we provide an optimal environment allowing the fruit to slowly mature to the highest quality.

 

Our Vineyards

Prosperity Pinot Noir — 5 acres of Pommard Pinot Noir planted in 1980.

Serenity Chardonnay — 2.8 acres of Chardonnay planted in 1980.

Harmony Gewurztraminer  — 7 acres of Gewurztraminer planted 1981.

Abundance Pinot Noir — 3.2 acres of Dijon 115 Pinot Noir planted in 1982.

Tranquility Riesling— 3.3 acres of Riesling planted in 1983.

 
 
 

Spirit of the Wine

Once at the winery, each varietal goes through specific and unique processes. Our Riesling, Gewürztraminer, and Peace are fermented in stainless steel tanks to ensure a bright, crisp flavor palette. The Riesling is for those that enjoy a crisp, sweet wine. Our Gewürztraminer is slightly off-dry for a food-friendly style and is a perfect companion to a variety of menus. Our unique white blend, aptly named Peace, is a semi-sweet, smooth, and easy-drinking wine for all occasions. Our Chardonnay is fermented in oak barrels to create a supple wine with a beautiful buttery texture, enhanced with light oak notes.

Our award winning Pinot Noirs are hand-crafted and vineyard designated. The difference between our Abundance Pinot Noir and our Prosperity Pinot Noir is how the rain, sun, and soil affect each individual vineyard block. All aspects of winemaking, from fruit harvest to bottling, are performed according to the same exacting specifications so each Pinot Noir may showcase its unique terroir directly to the taster. Our Reserve Cuvée Pinot Noir is a very limited 50/50 blend of the two main Pinot Noirs, and is aged for 2 years. Hand selected for rich, deep flavors, our line-up of Big Reds are sure to please those who prefer a bold wine with strength and character. Barrel aged for a minimum of 2-3 years, these wines are of superior quality to be enjoyed all year long.
